Damansara Perdana, Ritze Perdana on Fire?

I was in my unit during the incident. I heard fire bell rang at 6:10 pm but it was not my block. The sound seems like coming from far. So I just ignore it.

After about 20 minutes, I smelt smoke and start to look around. I could see some smoke in the walkway and I heard the bomba siren. A lot of residents from Ritze Perdana Block B & C have gathered in front of the entrance. I walked to the crowds and trying to get some info but no one knew what has happened.

I met Mr. Raj on my way to the car park. He told me that there’s a fire at level LG3 block B and nothing to worry because it is not serious. I ask him why the fire bell never rang in my block and surprisingly he answered that they have off it. Huh!?

I continued walking towards the car park and I saw LG1 is dark and full with smokes. The firefighter vehicle was stop at the back lane and the fire fighters were putting off the fire. The smokes were coming out from the car park in block B.

I went up to get my camera and when I reach the back lane, the fire was successfully off. Thanks god that it is just a small one.

I managed to go into LG3 and took some photos. So, is Ritze Perdana on Fire? Yes and No. It was a car in Ritze Perdana’s car park on fire.

I personally feel that the emergency system in Ritze Perdana is still lacking. How the emergency bell could be setting off? Besides, they should have some announcement thru the PA system or equivalent…
